Meeting for the methodology development

IN CULTURA VERITAS: Meeting for the methodology development held

In the meeting the key determinants for the definition of the consultative workshops methodology were identified.

The meeting on 22 November 2018 in Domačija Amon in Olimje, Slovenia was attended by the project partners and an external expert, Mrs Romana Lekić, PhD as a part of the project activity for development of joint tourism destination. The aim of the meeting was to develop methodology for conducting consultative workshops with the stakeholders.

Mrs Lekić informed the attendees about the key terms and definitions related to inventarisation of the existing content and topics, means of presentation and interpretation via experience and storytelling and good practice examples from the surrounding areas. She pointed out experience as the most important element and first component of the value model for development of the destination product and defined key elements for setting up the project region as a unique tourism destination.

The project partners contributed to the discussion with inputs relevant for their sectors, as the basis for developing methodology for consultative workshops. The methodology will be comprised of guidelines and instructions for implementation with the aim to acquire relevant information necessary for making of the Plan for managing the tourism destination offer and identified tourism products.

In line with the methodology, the following period will include organisation and conduction of consultative workshops with the aim to identify offer in the cross-border area and to sum up the conclusions and results as the basis of the Plan.

The cross border cooperation project between Croatia and Slovenia, In cultura veritas, is implemented with the support of the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A Slovenia – Croatia 2014.-2020.
